Agreement to Terms

Welcome to GridIron Duels LLC ("GridIron Duels," "we," "our," or "us"), a limited liability company registered in the State of Montana. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. Please read these Terms carefully before using GridIron Duels.

Service Description

GridIron Duels LLC is a web-based fantasy football game platform that allows users to:

  • • Create and participate in fantasy football draft games
  • • Draft NFL players in head-to-head or multi-player formats
  • • Compete against other users or computer opponents
  • • View leaderboards and track game statistics
  • • Interact with other players in real-time during drafts
  • • Purchase virtual currency (Coins) and cosmetic items
  • • Unlock progression rewards through the Battle Pass

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

Account Registration

Account Creation

To use certain features of GridIron Duels, you must create an account by providing:

  • • A valid email address
  • • A unique username
  • • A secure password

Alternatively, you may register using Google OAuth authentication.

Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • • Not share your account with others
  • • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. To make purchases you must be at least 18 years of age, or have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained such permission before making any purchase.

Virtual Currency (Coins)

GridIron Duels offers a virtual currency called "Coins" that can be used to purchase cosmetic items, unlock the premium Battle Pass, and access other in-game features. Please read the following carefully before purchasing Coins.

No Real-World Value

Coins are virtual items with no monetary value outside of GridIron Duels. Coins cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money, cash equivalents, or any goods or services outside the platform.

Non-Refundable

All Coin purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Once Coins are credited to your account, they cannot be reversed or exchanged back for real currency.

Coins Earned in-Game

Coins may also be earned through gameplay rewards such as Battle Pass tiers and achievements. These Coins carry the same restrictions as purchased Coins and have no monetary value.

Account Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms, you forfeit any remaining Coin balance without compensation. If you voluntarily delete your account, any unused Coin balance is permanently lost.

Modifications to Virtual Currency

We reserve the right to modify Coin pricing, package availability, and the items available for purchase at any time. We also reserve the right to discontinue virtual currency features with reasonable notice.

In-App Purchases & Payments

Real-money transactions on GridIron Duels are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe may store payment information subject to their own terms and privacy policy.

Billing

You will be charged the amount displayed at checkout in USD. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on Coin purchases except where required by law.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Filing a fraudulent chargeback is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all Coins and purchased items. Please contact us through Discord before initiating a dispute.

Purchase Receipts

A receipt will be emailed to your registered address after each successful purchase. You can also view your full purchase history in your account under Payment History.

Battle Pass & Cosmetics

Battle Pass

The Battle Pass is a seasonal progression system. A free track is available to all users. The premium pass can be unlocked with Coins and provides access to additional rewards. Battle Pass seasons are time-limited and expire at the end of the season. Unused premium tiers do not carry over to future seasons and are not refundable.

Cosmetics

Cosmetic items (profile borders, banners, name colors, titles) are for visual customization only. They provide no gameplay advantage. Once purchased, cosmetics are tied to your account permanently, unless your account is terminated. Cosmetics have no monetary value and cannot be traded or transferred.

Availability of Items

Some cosmetics are only available for limited periods through the rotating shop or Battle Pass. We do not guarantee that any specific item will remain available for purchase indefinitely.

User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

When using GridIron Duels, you agree NOT to:

Illegal Activities

Engage in any illegal activities, violate any laws, or infringe on others' rights.

Harassment and Abuse

Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users. Maintain respectful communication.

Cheating and Exploitation

Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to gain unfair advantages, exploit game mechanics, or farm Coins.

Payment Fraud

Use stolen payment methods, file fraudulent chargebacks, or attempt to obtain Coins or items without valid payment.

System Interference

Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of our services.

Spam and Advertising

Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotional content.

Impersonation

Impersonate other users, administrators, or any other person or entity.

Data Collection

Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without explicit permission.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

The GridIron Duels platform, including its design, code, graphics, logo, virtual items, and original content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

Virtual Items

Purchasing Coins, cosmetics, or Battle Pass access grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use those virtual items within the platform. You do not own the items — ownership remains with GridIron Duels at all times.

Third-Party Content

NFL player names, statistics, and team information are property of their respective owners. We use this information under fair use provisions for statistical and informational purposes only. GridIron Duels is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL.

Paid Features

GridIron Duels offers both free and paid features. Core gameplay is free. Optional purchases include:

  • • Coin packages (real-money purchase)
  • • Premium Battle Pass unlock (purchased with Coins)
  • • Cosmetic items from the shop (purchased with Coins)

We reserve the right to change pricing, add new paid features, or alter what is available for free at any time. Notice will be provided through the platform or by updating these Terms.

User Generated Content

Any content you submit to GridIron Duels (chat messages, usernames, profile information) remains your property. However, by submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and moderate that content as necessary to operate our services.

Account Termination

Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed from our active databases, though some data may persist in backups. Any remaining Coin balance and all purchased cosmetics or Battle Pass access will be permanently forfeited with no refund.

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • • Suspicious, fraudulent, or chargeback activity
  • • Abusive behavior toward other users or administrators
  • • Any conduct we deem harmful to our services or community

In the event of termination for cause, any remaining Coin balance and purchased items are forfeited without compensation.

Disclaimers and Limitations

No Warranties

GridIron Duels is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform may experience downtime, bugs, or performance issues. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from service unavailability.

Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate NFL player statistics, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy or real-time updates. Statistics are provided for entertainment purposes only.

Entertainment Only — No Gambling

GridIron Duels is an entertainment platform. Any real money spent on GridIron Duels is used solely to purchase virtual cosmetic items or progression features within the game. There are no monetary prizes, cash rewards, or items of real-world monetary value awarded through gameplay. Coins and cosmetics cannot be withdrawn or converted to real currency. This platform does not constitute gambling.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GridIron Duels LLC, its members, managers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • • Loss of data, revenue, or profits
  • • Loss of virtual currency or items due to account termination
  • • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • • Errors in player statistics or game results
  • • Unauthorized access to your account
  • • Interactions with other users

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GridIron Duels LLC, its members, managers, and officers from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, payment fraud, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes — particularly those affecting purchases, refunds, or virtual currency — we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict of law provisions. GridIron Duels LLC is a Montana limited liability company. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the State of Montana.

Severability

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GridIron Duels LLC regarding the use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.
