Yes! GridIron Duels is completely free to play. Simply create an account and start playing immediately. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or paywalls.

Do I need to download anything?

No downloads required! GridIron Duels runs entirely in your web browser. Simply visit our site, create an account, and start playing. The platform works on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

How long does a game take?

Most games are completed in 5-15 minutes, depending on the game mode and number of players. The quick format makes it perfect for a lunch break or short gaming session.

How does the team rotation work?

Each turn, a random NFL team is assigned. You must draft a player from that team to fill one of your roster positions. The system automatically ensures the assigned team has available players for the position you need to fill.

What positions do I need to fill?

Every roster requires 8 positions:

Classic Mode: Traditional fantasy scoring based on actual NFL statistics.

Crazy Mode: Randomized scoring multipliers that change every game, creating unpredictable outcomes.

League Mode: Multi-player games (4-12 players) with snake draft format for competitive play.

Can I play against the computer?

Yes! When creating a game, you can choose to play against a CPU opponent. This is perfect for practicing strategy or playing when no other players are available.

How is the winner determined?

Once all rosters are complete, scores are automatically calculated based on player statistics. The player with the highest total score wins. In Classic Mode, scoring uses standard fantasy football metrics. In Crazy Mode, the randomized multipliers affect final scores.

Which browsers are supported?

GridIron Duels works best on modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated for the best experience.

Does the game work on mobile devices?

Yes! The interface is responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. However, for the best experience, we recommend using a larger screen due to the amount of information displayed during drafts.

What happens if I lose connection during a game?

If you disconnect, the game will pause for a brief period. Refresh your browser to reconnect. If you're unable to reconnect within the timeout period, the CPU will take over your turns to keep the game moving for other players.

Where does the player data come from?

Player statistics and roster information are synced from official NFL data sources. Stats are updated regularly throughout the season to reflect current player performance.

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation, then choose to register with your email or use Google OAuth for instant sign-up. Email registration requires verification before you can play.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click "Forgot password?" on the login page. Enter your email address and you'll receive a password reset link. Follow the link to create a new password.

Can I change my username?

Yes! You can update your username at any time by visiting your profile settings page. Click on your username in the navigation menu, then select "Profile" to access your account settings.

This is usually a WebSocket connection issue. Refresh your browser to reconnect. If the problem persists, check if your firewall or network is blocking WebSocket connections.

A player's stats seem incorrect

Player statistics are updated regularly but there may be a slight delay. If you believe a stat is genuinely incorrect, please contact support with the player name and expected value.

I found a bug. How do I report it?
